Requirements

Trade Qualification in Painting and Decorating
Proven experience in all aspects of painting
Ability to clean and prepare surfaces to a high standard
Full open driver's license
Ability to pass a police check
Ability to pass a pre-employment physical assessment, and drug and alcohol test

Job Responsibility

Cleaning and preparing surfaces for painting (e.g., sanding, filling, patching)
Applying paints, varnishes, stains, and other coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment
Mixing and matching paints to achieve desired colours and textures
Applying finishes using brushes and rollers
Defect rectification with attention to detail
Ensuring a high standard of finish and attention to detail
Minor plasterboard repairs (fixing & flushing)
Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
Adhering to all safety regulations and procedures
Working on call as required

Requirements

Qualified Painter and Decorator
NVQ level 3 in given trades
Fully time served apprenticeship in given trades (Desirable)
2 years previous experience within similar environment and in particular across area multi sites and multi discipline service delivery
1 years’ experience in customer facing outsourcing environment
Background in mobile engineering/property maintenance
Good understanding of modern office software
Experience of working with asset/work management systems such as MAXIMO / CAFM systems on Android tablets
Strong, demonstrable competencies in building services trades

Job Responsibility

Carrying out painting and decorating tasks to a professional standard
Preparing surfaces and applying finishes with precision
Ensuring all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to specification
Maintaining a clean and tidy work environment
Delivering high-quality planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works across some of the most prestigious buildings in Central London
