About the Role: Trade Planning & Insights Analyst. Key Responsibilities: Conduct category and performance analysis (assortment, pricing, promotions). Analyze syndicated and shopper data to identify trends and opportunities. Develop fact-based insights and selling materials to support Sales. Build and maintain dashboards and recurring performance reports. Track and manage trade and promotional activity. Monitor trade spend and forecast performance against objectives. Evaluate promotion effectiveness and ROI. Provide actionable recommendations to improve trade investment outcomes. Analyze sales performance and identify risks and growth opportunities. Standardize and maintain reporting frameworks for consistent insights. Present findings clearly to cross-functional stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5+ years of experience in brand, category, or trade marketing analytics in the CPG space
  • Experience working with syndicated and/or shopper data platforms (e.g., Circana, Nielsen, Numerator, retailer shopper data)
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookup functions, data analysis)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the ability to synthesize data into actionable insights
  • Experience analyzing trade spend and promotional performance
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with Grocery, Mass, or Club retail channels preferred
