Due to continued growth, we have a rare opportunity to join our dynamic team at Thurlow Nunn Distrigo, a leading automotive parts distribution company in Luton. We specialise in providing top-quality parts and exceptional service to our valued trade customers. As a Trade Parts Sales Specialist, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our local B2B business, providing expert advice and ensuring our customers have everything they need to succeed. As a Trade Parts Sales Specialist, you’ll be the go-to person for our trade customers, assisting them with their parts requirements and offering tailored solutions to meet their business needs.

Job Responsibility:

  • Providing exceptional customer service to our trade customers, building strong relationships based on trust and expertise
  • Identifying customer needs and recommending appropriate parts and accessories
  • Assisting customers in finding the right products, providing detailed product information, and offering suitable alternatives when necessary
  • Processing orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery to customers
  • Proactively identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products, increasing revenue and customer satisfaction
  • Resolving customer queries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of our product range, industry trends, and competitor offerings

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in automotive parts sales or a similar B2B sales role is highly desirable
  • Strong knowledge of automotive parts and accessories, particularly in the trade market
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers
  • Proven track record in delivering exceptional customer service
  • Self-motivated and target-driven, with a passion for sales and achieving results
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with sales software and inventory management systems
