Are you looking for a change or finishing an apprenticeship? Our Trade Operator role is diverse, no two days are ever the same. Applying your trade skills, you will maintain, service, repair and perform approved modifications. We will provide training to support your transit to the rail industry and operating on-track machinery. We also offer genuine opportunities for career progression in return for your commitment.

Job Responsibility

  • Travel across Central Queensland Coal Network (CQCN) for maintenance/closures
  • Ability to work away from home on a varying roster consisting of rosters such as 10 on 4 off, 8 on 6 off
  • Roster based on a 208-shift count
  • Ideally live in Rockhampton or surrounding suburbs

Requirements

  • Certificate III Engineering Mechanical
  • Current drivers licence (Essential)
  • High level of skill in maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of plant and equipment
  • Sound communication skills both written and verbal
  • Exceptional teamwork skills and helpful attitude
