We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Trade Marketing Manager to lead the development and implementation of channel strategies and category growth plans. This role plays a pivotal part in driving both top-line growth and in-store brand equity by aligning marketing initiatives with sales objectives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth implementation of activations and product initiatives across various retail channels.
Job Responsibility:
Lead the development and execution of annual trade marketing plans and channel-specific strategies.
Collaborate closely with sales and brand teams to align on-channel strategy, promotions, and go-to-market execution.
Manage and track the effectiveness of A&P budget allocations for trade activities to ensure cost efficiency and high ROI.
Oversee the development of in-store marketing tools, including POSMs, product displays, and promotional materials.
Monitor and analyze sales data, competitor activities, and consumer insights to generate actionable growth strategies.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external agencies to ensure the timely rollout of marketing activities and P.R. initiatives.
Lead regular performance reviews and post-mortem reports for campaigns to provide recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a relevant field.
Minimum 6-8 years of experience in FMCG trade marketing, preferably within the food or beverage category.
Strong commercial mindset with a proven track record in leading successful channel activations and product launches.
Excellent analytical, stakeholder management, and project coordination abilities.
Strong understanding of Malaysian retail dynamics and consumer behavior.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, for data-driven strategy development
