We’re looking for a passionate and ambitious Trade Marketing Manager who can help to take our instore activation to the next level at PROPER SNACKS. This role will be crucial in helping to build visibility and accelerate growth for our Eat Real and PROPER brand portfolio. We are building the UK’s most exciting and fastest-growing major snacks company, whilst working together towards our mission to reinvent snacking as an act of positive well-being.
Job Responsibility:
You’ll be the linchpin between commercial, marketing, supply chain, finance and our creative studio, submitting clear and concise briefs into our world-class creative team to bring our brands to life in the market
Working your magic to collaborate with our retail partners across multiple sectors, boosting our presence across stores, warehouses, foodservice and online
Crafting brilliant trade marketing strategies and bringing them to life from eye-grabbing displays to attention-grabbing promotions, whilst using an entrepreneurial mindset to earn free media through retail partners wherever possible
Leading best-in-class trade show events that show off our brands and inspire our customers
Working closely with our third-party logistics partners to ensure that branded assets get to the right people at the right time
Keeping a tight grip on the purse strings and leading a monthly check-in with finance and commercial to ensure that we’re spending every £ for maximum impact
Diving into the numbers to prove impact and return on your investment to win support to do even more
Keeping the finger on the pulse of consumer trends and looking across other categories to bring fresh ideas to the snacks table that set us apart from the crowd
Requirements:
You've got a passion for snacks that's nothing short of legendary. You understand what makes our products irresistible
A strong track record in trade marketing or a relevant adjacent field (marketing, merchandising, commercial)
A fantastic collaborator with superb people and soft skills, who is experienced at coordinating effectively with other business functions
An understanding of what exceptional merchandising looks like with an eye for detail
A Builder mentality, being a pioneer and doing things for the first time, as well as finding a way when no-one else can
Strong organisational and project management skills
Strong numerical and creative skills
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
Experience working across different channels (eg. Grocery, Impulse, Foodservice, E-Commerce) preferred, but not essential
