We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Trade Marketing Manager to lead trade strategies for a leading dairy portfolio. This position plays a pivotal role in bridging brand equity with commercial performance, ensuring that marketing initiatives are effectively translated into actionable trade plans across diverse retail channels. The successful candidate will drive growth by identifying market opportunities, managing national promotions, and optimizing the in-store "Picture of Success".
Job Responsibility:
Develop and prepare annual brand plans from a channel and category perspective to be applied effectively across the trade landscape
Evaluate the trade landscape to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities that shape the brand-to-trade strategy
Ensure timely alignment across internal stakeholders and senior leadership for all commercial and operational activities
Lead the full National Consumer Promotion (NCP) activation cycle, including demand forecasting, budget management, and ROI evaluation
Prepare and lead monthly topline meetings and steer the development, analysis, and presentation of annual brand plans
Define the "Picture of Success" (PICOS) with insights-driven guidance and standardize measurement criteria (KPIs) to enable strategic planning
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in Trade Marketing within the FMCG industry in Malaysia
Strong experience in category management, channel planning, and executing 360 marketing campaigns
Proven understanding of the retail segment, shopper behavior, and commercial dynamics within the dairy or broader food and beverage industry
High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint) and experience with industry data tools like Nielsen and Kantar
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and analytical abilities
