We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Trade Marketing Manager to lead the commercial marketing execution for a prominent beverage portfolio. Reporting to the Marketing Director, you will play a pivotal part in bridging the gap between brand strategy and channel execution, ensuring top-line growth and market share expansion. This role requires a strong commercial mindset and the ability to coordinate complex product initiatives across various retail touchpoints.
Job Responsibility:
Lead the development and execution of trade marketing strategies and annual activation plans for the beverage portfolio
Champion new product development (NPD) from a trade perspective, including go-to-market execution and channel-specific launch strategies
Deliver effective 360 campaigns across ATL, BTL, and digital platforms to drive consumer engagement and brand loyalty
Manage in-store marketing tools such as POSMs, product displays, and promotional materials to ensure maximum visibility
Oversee A&P budget allocation and track the ROI and effectiveness of marketing investments
Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activity to generate actionable insights and strategic recommendations
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, regulatory, and supply chain, to align on-channel strategies
Act as the key liaison with external P.R., creative, and media agencies to ensure high-quality execution of brand initiatives
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
7–10 years of experience in FMCG marketing or trade marketing, ideally within the beverage or food categories
Proven track record in leading successful brand campaigns and new product launches
Strong commercial acumen and a deep understanding of Malaysian retail dynamics
Experience in managing agency partners and executing comprehensive 360° marketing plans
Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and project management skills
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data-driven strategy and performance tracking
