Job Description:

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Trade Marketing Manager to lead the commercial marketing execution for a prominent beverage portfolio. Reporting to the Marketing Director, you will play a pivotal part in bridging the gap between brand strategy and channel execution, ensuring top-line growth and market share expansion. This role requires a strong commercial mindset and the ability to coordinate complex product initiatives across various retail touchpoints.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the development and execution of trade marketing strategies and annual activation plans for the beverage portfolio
  • Champion new product development (NPD) from a trade perspective, including go-to-market execution and channel-specific launch strategies
  • Deliver effective 360 campaigns across ATL, BTL, and digital platforms to drive consumer engagement and brand loyalty
  • Manage in-store marketing tools such as POSMs, product displays, and promotional materials to ensure maximum visibility
  • Oversee A&P budget allocation and track the ROI and effectiveness of marketing investments
  • Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activity to generate actionable insights and strategic recommendations
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, regulatory, and supply chain, to align on-channel strategies
  • Act as the key liaison with external P.R., creative, and media agencies to ensure high-quality execution of brand initiatives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 7–10 years of experience in FMCG marketing or trade marketing, ideally within the beverage or food categories
  • Proven track record in leading successful brand campaigns and new product launches
  • Strong commercial acumen and a deep understanding of Malaysian retail dynamics
  • Experience in managing agency partners and executing comprehensive 360° marketing plans
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and project management skills
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data-driven strategy and performance tracking
