Job Description

Prepare a monthly trial balance for shipments, external supplier, customs . Issuing form 4 and LC's • Following LC's and IDC's payments Handling all payments • Ensuring proper records are kept on and off oracle system  Following LC's and IDC's payments Handling all payments Evaluate and process trade finance applications and transactions. Coordinate with banks and financial institutions to arrange financing solutions. Ensure compliance with local and international trade regulations. Prepare and review trade documentation, including letters of credit and invoices. Provide advisory services to clients regarding trade finance products. Monitor and manage risks associated with trade transactions. Maintain accurate records of trade finance transactions and documentation. Communicate with clients to resolve any issues related to trade finance.

  • Fluency in English is a must
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and decision-making skills

  • Be the centre of excellence for ECA and Structured Trade transactions for Barclays in Europe
  • Lead in driving originators and RDs to identify ECA and Structured Trade opportunities in their portfolios and accompany originators to client meetings in order to pitch the ECA proposition
  • Use expert knowledge of ECA criteria to ensure that deals are structured correctly to gain ECA support
  • Negotiate and structure facilities, providing expert advice on pricing proposals, risk papers and documentation negotiation
