Job Description

Are you looking for an exciting opportunity, working within a unique retail environment for a market leading business? Arco have a fantastic opportunity for a full time Trade Counter Advisor to join the team, working from our store in Trafford Park. As a Trade Counter Advisor you will deliver high levels of customer service, and actively drive sales activity, improving customer loyalty and growing Arco’s profitability.

Job Responsibility

  • Providing high levels of customer service and build strong customer relationships
  • Supporting with opening accounts, providing quotations and customer account management
  • Driving sales through customer calling, leaflet distribution and other sales activity
  • Managing cash in line with company policies and procedures including cashing up, processing refunds and supporting with the banking collection
  • Following merchandising principles, including pricing, campaign set ups and ensuring product displays are well maintained.
  • Assisting with control of stock, including processing of deliveries, click and collect and actioning weekly stock counts.
  • Supporting Branch operations including stock preparation, stock management and restocking of customer sites (where required)
  • Complying with and being an advocate for Health & Safety and Security at all times

Requirements

  • Experience of working face to face with customers, preferably in a retail environment
  • Experience of sales, either over the phone or face to face
  • Strong IT skills
  • Microsoft Word, Excel etc. and the ability to learn new software
  • Driving licence is preferred
