The Trade Corridor Strategy & Receivables Finance Analyst has dual responsibilities to support the Global Trade Corridor strategy as well as the NAM Receivables Finance business, playing a crucial role in developing, implementing, and optimizing strategic initiatives across various global trade corridors, with a particular focus on the critical Americas corridors as well as help drive growth in the NAM Receivables Finance portfolio. This role involves applying market knowledge and assisting in the execution of the global strategy for existing and new business, heavily influenced by evolving geopolitical and supply-chain dynamics.
Job Responsibility:
Help define and prioritize corridor taxonomies, priorities, and commercialization plans
Assist in Identifying and developing new corridors driven by near/friend-shoring and supply-chain realignments
Contribute to the creation of corridor playbooks covering client segments, product bundles, risk frameworks, and operating models
Conduct data mining and analysis to uncover trade flow patterns, bottlenecks, and emerging opportunities
Analyze economic, regulatory, and geopolitical factors affecting global trade
Support external partnership initiatives (fintechs, insurers, logistics/ports, ecosystem platforms)
Prepare reports, presentations, and strategic recommendations for senior stakeholders
Coordinate cross-functional resources and manage day-to-day project activities
Engage stakeholders across product, coverage, risk, operations, technology, and compliance
Support the NAM RF Lead in strategy development, product development, and growth execution
Conduct market analysis — competitive landscape, client needs, and new solution opportunities
Support the enhancement of RF product bundles and client-centric solutions for NAM clients
Coordinate RF program activities and ensure alignment to commercial goals
Communicate status, risks, and decisions to senior management and key stakeholders
Collaborate with sales, Services Sector, and NAM inbound teams to align on RF opportunities
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency
Requirements:
Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
3+ years of related experience
Knowledge of marketing, credit, acquisitions, product development, and/or analytics
Ability to work unsupervised and adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
