Boeing’s Global Trade Controls Function (GTC) has an exciting opportunity for a Trade Controls Specialist (TCS) based in Doha, Qatar. Reporting to the GTC Senior Manager for the Middle East, Turkey & Africa Region. Providing primary support to the Boeing Qatar businesses and other Boeing business interests in Qatar, the successful candidate will also provide trade compliance support to colleagues in the wider Middle East region. Some regional or international travel may be required. This position is key to developing strong business partner relationships and providing tailored trade controls support and solutions to help enable business success in a timely and compliant manner. The ideal candidate will have proven operational experience in trade controls, including a working knowledge of Qatari, and ideally wider GCC, Customs’ regulations for importing and exporting products and technology and experience working with U.S. export regulations. They will also be able to work on their own initiative as part of a geographically dispersed team and to team effectively with business partners.
