A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Trade Compliance Administrator to join the team with our prestigious client Thales at their site in Crawley, this is a hybrid role on-site requirements being 3 days between Monday and Thursday and Friday and 1 other day working from home. International trade is governed by international laws and regulations governing export controls and restrictive measures applicable to hardware, software, services and related technologies. Failure to comply with these regulations exposes manufacturers, their representatives and employees to heavy administrative, criminal, financial and economic penalties, with a risk of significant damage to their reputation. In a constantly changing world, full compliance with these regulations, known as 'Trade Compliance', is essential for Thales and its employees. Reporting to the entity's Trade Compliance Director or the BLs Trade Compliance Manager, the Trade Compliance Analyst 1 helps to ensure that the entity's personnel and activities comply with all regulations relating to export controls (national and international applicable to its field), restrictive measures (sectoral or general) and, where applicable, customs regulations. In this capacity, he/she contributes to the deployment and implementation of the entity's Trade Compliance programme, with the main task of ensuring the continuity of its activities and protecting it against any risk of non-compliance. The Trade Compliance Analyst 1 is positioned at BL, BS, Domain or site level.
