Job Description:

Are you mechanically minded and ready for a hands-on role? Join our Service team where you'll support skilled tradespeople in a dynamic workshop environment. As a Trades Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with the repair, cleaning, and maintenance of diesel engines and pumps. You will work closely with a supportive team to ensure equipment is serviced to the highest standards.

Requirements:

  • Experience & Aptitude: A strong mechanical aptitude and experience working in a workshop environment
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with diesel engines, pump service, and the ability to follow procedures/manuals
  • Welding Capability: Ability to perform welding tasks as needed (roughly 20% of the role)
  • Valid Licenses: A current driver's licence is essential, and you must hold (or be able to obtain) a forklift licence
  • Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including equipment cleaning and onsite installations
