Trade and Working Capital Solutions (TWCS) within the Services organization is a dynamic, high growth global business that offers working capital solutions to clients across Corporate Bank, Banking and International and Citi Commercial Bank client segments in over 100 countries. The TWCS Business Execution team is responsible for the overall business strategy, strategic projects execution, technology agenda management and execution, performance management and productivity.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead and manage the execution of key strategic initiatives and projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with the overall business strategy for Trade and Working Capital Solutions
  • Drive the design, development, and implementation of the Target Operating Model, optimizing end to end processes, systems, and organizational structures to enhance efficiency, control, and client experience
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and standardization within Trade and Working Capital front office, operations and technology, driving initiatives to enhance the client experience, productivity and efficiency
  • Spearhead the full commercialization lifecycle for new products, capabilities, and solutions
  • This includes implementing new design frameworks, driving market readiness, developing comprehensive go-to-market strategies, and ensuring effective adoption that directly supports the execution of client strategies and business growth objectives
  • Foster strong relationships with TWCS Executive Committee (ExCo) members, Services senior leadership, and key stakeholders across Product, Sales, Operations, and Technology functions to secure buy-in, manage expectations, and ensure collaborative project and commercialization delivery
  • Partner effectively with diverse teams across geographies and functional areas to integrate strategic initiatives and new offerings seamlessly into existing business operations and technology platforms
  • Oversee all aspects of project lifecycle for strategic projects, including scope definition, resource allocation, budget management, risk mitigation, and reporting, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Establish clear metrics for project success, operating model effectiveness, and commercialization impact, regularly reporting progress and outcomes to senior management and stakeholders
  • Demonstrate leadership and the ability to operate independently, making informed decisions and driving initiatives forward with minimal supervision within a global, highly complex organizational environment

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is preferred
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., PMP, Lean Six Sigma) are a plus
  • Minimum of 15+ years of experience in financial services, with significant experience in business transformation, strategic execution, project management and/or product commercialization roles
  • Demonstrated experience in managing high-impact, end-to-end projects and bringing new products/capabilities to market, including the implementation of new design frameworks, within a global context
  • Experience in Trade Finance and/or Transactional Banking is a significant plus
  • Proven ability to develop and articulate clear strategic visions and translate them into actionable plans, including comprehensive commercialization strategies and the integration of new design frameworks
  • Strong track record of successfully delivering complex projects and achieving strategic objectives, including effective product and solution launches, and the successful implementation of new operational and design frameworks
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and partner effectively with senior executives and diverse stakeholder groups as well as senior stakeholders
