Registered Apprentice with the Provincial Training Board either Level 2, 3 or 4
Passed the Apprenticeship entry exam
Graduation from a recognized certificate program (ex. Truck and Transport Technician, Heavy Duty Technician)
Desire to obtain Journeyman's certificate
Effective time management and team focus
May stand and walk on level and uneven surfaces, twist, bend, push, pull, crouch, climb stairs, bend and crawl, grasp, drag, lift and carry items weighing 50 lbs or less

Job Responsibility

Work in conjunction with the Service Coordinator and the other Tractor/Trailer Technician/Mechanics to complete preventative maintenance and repairs on the Bison fleet in a timely and efficient manner by diagnosing problems found during inspections prescribing the correct remedial action
