Job Description:

In this role and as part of our Single Source Leasing team, you will work with our truck drivers to lease them new and used tractor trailer equipment. You will also work with our terminals, truck and trailer repair shops, and trailer manufacturers, acting as a liaison between them and providing exceptional customer service. Job Responsibility:

  • Assisting truck drivers by scheduling equipment service appointments, monitoring service progress, calculating charges, and setting up monetary deductions
  • Actively working on drivers’ behalf to help mitigate costs during repairs on equipment
  • Managing tractor/trailer inventory using Single Source Leasing’s tracking systems, Google docs, and spreadsheets
  • Consulting with repair facilities and acting as a liaison between drivers and shops
  • Continuously communicating with truck drivers, responding to issues in a timely manner and providing information about other available services and programs as appropriate
  • Evaluating tractor and trailer equipment to calculate fair market value
  • Analyzing reports to ensure accurate information processing

Requirements:

  • Understanding, working with, and the ability to grasp mechanical concepts (tractor trailer mechanical knowledge is preferred but not required)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of diesel engine systems and flatbed trailer equipment, including maintenance, inspection, and troubleshooting
  • Customer service-oriented
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to recognize and appropriately respond to tone in phone and email correspondence
  • Mathematical aptitude
  • Ability to interact with truck drivers, terminals/agents, vendors/customers, co-workers, and internal departments
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Positive attitude and friendly demeanor
