Tractor Operator

• Operates gasoline or diesel-powered tractor, compost turner, stake bed trucks, and bobcat
• Moves materials, draw implements, tow-trailers, pull out objects embedded in ground, or pull cable of winch to raise, lower, or load heavy material or equipment
• Operates tractor to mow vegetation along roads, ditches, culverts and other uneven terrain
• Fastens attachments such as graders, plows, rollers, mowers (over 2000 lbs.), backhoes, seeders, and disc harrows to tractor, adjusts equipment for proper operation, lubricates and makes minor repairs to tractor and attachments such as tightening bolts, and replacing washers, cotter pins, and screws
• Performs all other duties assigned to satisfy the operational requirements of the contract

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of tractor operation experience
• Class C state driver’s license
• Flight Line Driving Permit (to be obtained upon hiring-if applicable)
• Pass National Agency Check Clearance
• Good interpersonal skills, ability to work as a team player
• and work harmoniously with others
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• stand for an 8 hour shift
