Job Description:

Aurizon is looking for motivated and safety-conscious individuals to join our infrastructure maintenance team in Dry Creek - Adelaide as a Track Maintainer. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and reliability of rail infrastructure across the region. No prior rail experience? No problem! Ongoing training and development will be provided, but experience in rail, construction, or manual labour environments would be highly regarded. Enjoy working 5 days per week Monday to Friday with the occasional call outs and working overtime hours. Daily duties will include the use of manual hand tools and some use of heavy vehicle equipment. Ongoing training and development will be provided to the successful candidate.

Requirements:

  • Current C Class Driver’s Licence (no restrictions) – essential
  • Hold a current White Card/Construction card (mandatory)

  • A team player who can also work independently when required
  • Willing to undertake necessary training for the role
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Comfortable performing manual labour and working in outdoor environments
  • Ability to pass a Category 1 Rail Medical and Driver History Check (mandatory) as part of the Aurizon recruitment process
