We are seeking experienced Track Hoe Operators, Track Loader Operators and Experienced Pipelayers to join our growing pipe crews based in York, PA. These roles focus on underground utility projects, including water, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer installations, in locations in Central PA.
Job Responsibility:
Excavate trenches for mainline utilities such as water, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer systems
Backfill trenches, load materials, and manage trench boxes as needed
Operate equipment safely in accordance with company policies and OSHA standards
Perform regular maintenance on equipment, including greasing and checking fluids, to ensure optimal operation
Demonstrate a working knowledge of underground utilities
Carry out other related duties as required to complete project tasks
Operates track loader to excavate trenches, fill ditches or load materials
Operates equipment in compliance with Kinsley’s safety policies and OSHA procedures
Ensures company equipment is maintained and in good running condition by greasing and checking fluids
Performs other related duties and responsibilities as required to complete the job
Install new pipes for storm or sanitation sewers, drains, and water mains in prepared trenches
Ensure pipes are aligned properly and positioned on grade and on line
Assist with backfilling and operate compaction equipment as needed
Recognize and mitigate job site hazards
Perform additional duties and responsibilities as needed to support the crew
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience operating track hoes
Prior experience with backhoes and excavators is preferred
Knowledge of underground utility installation, excavation regulations, and pipeline safety
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required
Physical ability to lift, bend, carry, and perform other essential tasks of the role
Ability to pass a pre-employment DOT physical and drug/alcohol test
Strong punctuality and dependability
Nice to have:
Prior experience with backhoes and excavators is preferred
