Job Description:

The Assistant Vice President - TPM Specialist will provide high-quality trade enrichment and lifecycle management services for Interest Rates & Credit Derivatives trades. The role includes supporting trade compression, risk management, and providing a primary contact for internal and external clients. This position focuses on enhancing controls and contributing to the overall TOM design and implementation for Middle Office processes while fostering innovation and promoting strong governance practices. A solid understanding of operational risk, process improvement, and strong stakeholder management is critical.

Job Responsibility:

Provide high-quality trade enrichment and trade lifecycle event management
trade compression and backloading support
establish trade allocation and manage risk
work with sales and trading to manage deals
resolve issues under tight deadlines
deliver quality service with operational risk safety and cost efficiency
contribute to change initiatives
support TOM design and implementation
ensure effectiveness of regulatory framework
implement process improvements
act as point of escalation for trade flow issues
lead innovation in team processes

minimum of 5 years working experience in Investment Banking or Wholesale Banking
minimum of 2 years experience in Derivatives Trade Control or Desk Support
working knowledge in Rates or Credit Derivative products, Bonds, Futures and Repo
knowledge in Structured Derivatives such as TRS, Options and Inflation Swaps
trade validation experience
strong track record for attention to detail
strong knowledge in trade level reconciliation and investigation
technical understanding of trading systems
familiarity with MarkitWire, TradeWeb, Bloomberg TOM
Summit, TREATS & other PTS systems
evidence of Thought Leadership in operational supervisory environment
assertiveness and influencing skills
strong understanding of operational risk, procedures and controls
familiarity with front-to-back trade lifecycle
ability to perform well under high pressure
excellent planning, time management and organizational skills
knowledge of MS Office
good numerical and analytical skills
strong culture of ethics and integrity
ability to learn quickly and transfer knowledge accurately
ability to speak and understand English fluently
ability to work in UK time zone
flexibility to work across follow-the-sun model
ability to work on Malaysian public holiday.
