Job Responsibility:
Develops the annual operating and capital budgets
Prepares Town Meeting warrants
Supports the Select Board with public meeting preparation and long-term strategic initiatives
Oversees municipal departments pursuant to the Town Charter
Exercises significant independent judgment and carries broad responsibility for day-to-day operations
Requirements:
Master’s degree in Public Administration, Public Policy, Business, or a related field is preferred
Massachusetts Certified Public Purchasing Official certification is required during the term of the appointment
Strong knowledge and skills in finance, labor relations, personnel administration, economic development, community planning, procurement, law, and intergovernmental relations
