Town Accountant

Performs highly responsible professional, administrative, and supervisory accounting work in maintaining the financial records and fiscal integrity of the Town

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, finance, or a closely related field
• Five to seven years of related experience
• Or any equivalent combination of education, training, certification, and experience
• Must be able to work independently to ensure that time-sensitive projects are completed
• Knowledge of the laws and methods pertaining to municipal finance and accounting
• Knowledge of the UMAS accounting system
• Strong record-keeping skills
• Strong communicator
