The town of Bolton, an AAA-rated community of ~5,500 residents and a member of the Nashoba Regional School District, seeks an experienced municipal finance professional to serve as Town Accountant. This 32-hour a week position (M-Th) serves as the town’s statutory accounting officer and is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and transparency of the town’s financial operations. The Town Accountant exercises independent authority over expenditure approval and financial record-keeping and leads all core accounting functions including general ledger management, financial reporting, audit coordination, and preparation of required state submissions. Requirements:
Three to five years of municipal accounting experience
