Job Description:

We are partnering with a reputable tow truck company in British Columbia looking for a reliable and experienced Tow Truck Driver to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for professional drivers who are dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of vehicles.

Job Responsibility:

  • Ensure the safety and security of cargo, including hazardous materials, through proper handling and tarping
  • Perform preventive maintenance on the tow truck
  • Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and readiness
  • Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating the tow truck
  • Perform basic mechanical tasks such as jump-starts and tire changes when necessary
  • Maintain accurate records of each tow, including vehicle condition and final destination
  • Interact with vehicle owners to assist them with their needs, ensuring satisfaction
  • Secure vehicles properly to the tow truck to prevent damage during transportation
  • Operate a tow truck to transport vehicles from various locations to specified destinations

Requirements:

  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
  • valid Ontario Tow License
  • AZ/DZ license
  • Previous experience in towing or related commercial driving fields
  • Ability to work independently, including nights and weekends, as needed
  • Aptitude for ensuring cargo safety, including handling dangerous goods
