Job Description:

As a Tourism Driver, you will be responsible for providing safe, timely, and efficient transportation to tourists visiting various destinations across Costa Rica while offering exceptional customer service.

Job Responsibility:

Safely transport tourists to various destinations throughout Costa Rica, including popular attractions, airport services to hotels in Costa Rica
Provide a comfortable and pleasant journey, always ensuring a high standard of service and professionalism
Offer insights and information about local attractions, culture, and points of interest during the journey
Ensure the vehicle is clean, maintained, and fueled for each trip
Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company guidelines to ensure a safe driving experience
Assist tourists with loading and unloading luggage and provide help when needed, ensuring their comfort
Keep track of the schedule and notify management of any delays or unexpected changes
Maintain a positive, friendly, and professional demeanor with tourists and colleagues
Stay informed about road conditions and traffic patterns to optimize travel times
Report any vehicle issues or accidents immediately to management and assist with any required documentation

Requirements:

Valid Costa Rican driver's license (Type B or A preferred)
At least 2 years of professional driving experience, preferably in tourism or passenger transport
Familiarity with the geography of Costa Rica and popular tourist destinations is a plus
Strong communication skills in Spanish (English proficiency is a plus)
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Clean driving record with no history of accidents or traffic violations
Physical ability to assist tourists with luggage and perform other light duties
First Aid and CPR certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain)
Knowledge of essential vehicle maintenance is desirable
