Job Description:

The Tour Generation Specialist- Appointment Setter is responsible for engaging vacationers, resort guests, and local visitors at various Capital Vacations marketing locations. These locations may include resort lobbies, hotel partners, outdoor marketing booths, events, festivals, and high-traffic activity areas. Using a scripted pitch (delivered naturally), the Tour Generation Specialist- Appointment Setter generates interest in the Capital Vacations ownership experience and schedules sales presentations for qualified guests. Success in this role is directly tied to the number of qualified appointments set and verified. This is an energetic, people-oriented role that rewards confidence, drive, and strong communication skills.

Job Responsibility:

  • Engage tourists, travelers, and locals in high-traffic environments including hotels, resorts, partner businesses, and promotional events
  • Deliver a scripted pitch in a natural, conversational manner to introduce Capital Vacations and the benefits of vacation ownership
  • Create excitement and interest around attending a sales presentation
  • Qualify guests based on company criteria before scheduling their appointment
  • Set appointments accurately and efficiently, ensuring all guest information is properly recorded
  • Achieve weekly appointment and performance goals
  • Maintain a positive, high-energy presence throughout each shift
  • Represent Capital Vacations professionally and uphold all company policies and standards

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must be comfortable earning commission-based income
  • Ability to memorize and deliver a short scripted pitch while keeping it conversational
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work in outdoor or indoor public settings
  • Reliable transportation to various marketing locations within the Myrtle Beach area
  • Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and peak travel periods as needed
