Job Description

We are currently looking for a Senior Total Rewards Partner to support our existing Total Rewards team within the People & Organization (P&O) department. Our Total Rewards team is responsible for developing and executing the reward strategy for Zalando in close collaboration with the senior management team. The scope of responsibilities of the team includes total reward benchmarking, regular salary review processes, executive compensation, as well as the design and implementation of global equity plans. In addition, the team is responsible for managing Zalando's comprehensive employee benefits portfolio. You will play a key role in shaping and managing rewards initiatives, driving their implementation, and effectively communicating them across key stakeholders and the broader organization. Your work will enhance our organization's understanding of compensation practices, making them more attractive and aligned with our rewards strategy and business needs.

Job Responsibility

  • Design & Develop Rewards Products: Create, enhance, and implement compensation processes and programs, with a focus on professional and managerial roles in our European hubs
  • Data-Driven Insights: Conduct complex data analyses, interpret trends, and provide strategic recommendations to ensure competitive and fair compensation practices
  • Project Management: Lead and oversee key rewards initiatives, ensuring timely execution and seamless integration with broader P&O strategies
  • Market & Regulatory Awareness: Stay ahead of evolving market trends and regulatory changes to align our compensation philosophy with compliance and business objectives
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with cross-functional teams, including P&O Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, People Analytics, Legal, Communications, and Work Council representatives, to ensure smooth implementation and communication of rewards programs
  • Industry Networking: Collaborate with external consultants and rewards experts to benchmark practices, anticipate trends, and continuously refine our approach

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Total Rewards, Compensation, or related areas within a complex, global organization or consultancy firm
  • Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Social Studies, or a related field
  • Experience in applying Product Design principles to People-related topics is a strong plus
  • Strong learner with a proactive approach to expanding knowledge and skills
  • Structured and detail-oriented, with the ability to keep the big picture in mind
  • Excellent ability to engage different audiences, distill complex topics, and communicate them in a clear, digestible way
  • Solution-oriented, flexible, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment
  • Demonstrates strong accountability, thrives on feedback, and can work autonomously
  • Fluency in English is a must
