The Total Rewards Manager oversees and coordinates total rewards activities for Cencora, including Alliance Healthcare and affiliates, primarily in the Netherlands and Norway, with potential involvement in other international regions. The role ensures adherence to reward standard operating procedures and objectives set by the Regional Total Rewards Director and Country HR Director. This position combines strategic vision with executional excellence to develop and implement modern, sustainable compensation and benefits policies, enhancing employee engagement, performance, and organizational continuity. The role serves as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor to the executive team and HR colleagues.
Job Responsibility:
Collaborates with stakeholders to support compensation and benefits programs at national level according to global policies
Conducts analyses and reports to assist managers in making compensation decisions based on the organization's reward strategy
Develops relationships with HR Business Partners and business clients, providing guidance on global compensation and benefits data and decisions
Coordinates benefits renewals, vendor interactions, and works with the regional Total Rewards Manager to implement the International Benefits Strategy
Monitors the local market, participates in surveys, examines data, and reports trends in compensation and benefits
Prepares budget impact calculations, local expense alignment reporting, and provides operational reports to stakeholder groups
Ensures compliance with compensation and benefits standards with company policies, regulations, and legislation
Ensure consistent translation of collective labor agreements (CAO), legislation, and regulations into internal policy frameworks, processes, and communication
Coordinates the communication of compensation and benefits information to employees and other HR groups
Manage merit review processes, pay adjustments, and bonus plans to comply with company guidelines
Requirements:
Higher professional education (HBO+) or university-level working and thinking capacity
Background in HRM, Business Administration, Economics, or Employment Law
Extensive experience (5–10 years) in Compensation & Benefits or as an HR specialist with a strong focus on employment conditions
Advanced analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills
Persuasive ability to understand complex issues and translate them into clear, well-supported advice
Highly skilled with numbers and proficient in Excel and data-driven analyses
Excellent knowledge of employment law, collective labor agreements (CAO), and relevant regulations
Combines vision, independence, and organizational sensitivity with a hands-on mentality
