Job Description:

We are hiring a Total Quality Lead to own and continuously evolve DeVry's company-wide Total Quality Management (TQM) system, with a primary focus on plant quality from propagation through in-store performance. • Chair the Total Quality Council and guide cross-functional quality priorities and trade-offs
  • Build and maintain a closed-loop feedback system from store performance back to growing and planning
  • Design and govern targeted quality A/B tests (e.g. growing practices, handling, or shipping parameters) to validate improvements before standardizing
  • Govern ship / no-ship decision rules and escalation paths so decisions are fact-based, not pressure-driven
  • Design critical quality checkpoints that surface risk early (teams execute checks)
  • Own quality KPI definitions and signal integrity (shrink, readiness, credits, rework)
  • Lead root-cause analysis and CAPA for systemic quality issues
  • Translate learning into updated standards and standard work so issues do not repeat

  • Proven cross-functional influencer without formal authority
  • Hands-on experience with continuous improvement, quality, or operational excellence
  • Root-cause driven with strong judgement and intellectual rigor

  • Influential communicator with a bias for clear standards, decisions and learning
  • Committed to ongoing mastery of Total Quality Management (TQM)

Nice to have:

  • Growth mindset with adaptability and openness to innovation
  • Skilled at balancing quality, readiness, customer expectations, and commercial realities
