Job Responsibility

  • Diagnose and repair tooling, fixtures, and machine-related issues to minimize downtime and maintain production readiness
  • Set up, program, and operate a variety of machine tools and grinding equipment to produce highly precise parts and components
  • Rebuild, install, align, and calibrate tooling, machines, and attachments using drawings, specifications, and precision measuring instruments
  • Own the quality, dimensional accuracy, and safety of assigned work while supporting continuous improvement and, when needed, guiding apprentices.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Completion of a Tool and Die Maker Apprenticeship
  • Strong knowledge of machining practices, production machines, tooling, fixtures, shop math, and metal properties
  • Ability to read complex drawings and specifications and use precision measurement tools to ensure exacting quality standards
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
