Job Description:

KP Staffing is now hiring a 2nd shift tooling support technician for a company in North Fort Worth! These positions are for an injection molding facility that is a leading provider of high-performance optical interconnect solutions, specializing in innovative fiber optic connectors and components.

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform in-press mold cleanings, minor mold maintenance, and slide preventive maintenance
  • Use dry ice blasters and hand tools to clean and maintain molds and tooling components
  • Follow established procedures and work orders, maintaining accurate documentation
  • Communicate effectively with peers, operators, and leadership regarding tooling and production needs
  • Collaborate with the molding department to maintain a clean and safe production floor
  • Work in both the molding floor and the tool room, depending on production priorities

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic mechanical skills and experience with hand tools
  • Prior experience in maintenance and/or repair roles preferred
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Occasional exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and chemicals
  • Requires close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
