Bachelor's degree in engineering or a relevant discipline
Good working knowledge of forming of carbon steel, stainless, and non-ferrous substrate materials
Good working knowledge of draw, trim, cam, and progressive dies
Good working knowledge of stamping presses, screw machines, and roll form machines
Must have the ability to troubleshoot dies, presses, screw machines, and roll form machines
Good understanding of machining processes and safety controls

Developing blueprints for new tooling designs
Sharing designs with colleagues and implementing any relevant feedback in the new designs

Job Responsibility

Develop die PMs and implement improvements to existing tooling
Conduct annual die review and follow up with required actions related to annual press inspections
Obtain quotes, write capital funding requests, coordinates machinery installations or tooling modifications or upgrades
Provides engineering services daily to maintenance and tool room
Participate in continuous improvement activities
