Job Description:

We are now recruiting for a Tool Hire Sales Manager in Barking to lead the hire department in this large branch. As part of the branch leadership team, you will work alongside a highly experienced Branch Manager and be responsible for the supervision and coordination of all colleagues working in the Tool Hire department, ensuring a quality service to the customer at all times.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the hire department in the large branch
  • Supervise and coordinate all colleagues in the Tool Hire department
  • Develop a sales action plan to achieve and exceed agreed AOP
  • Undertake managerial duties to ensure effective utilisation of all resources
  • Oversee maintenance of plant and tools within health and safety requirements
  • Balance stock levels to meet demand
  • Train, supervise, and motivate the team
  • Handle customer queries and upsell to boost sales
  • Conduct daily toolbox talks and maintain effective communication
