Job Description:

The Automotive/Collision Tool Room Clerk supports the automotive/collision technology program by managing, issuing, and maintaining tools, equipment, and supplies used by students and instructors in instructional labs. This role ensures tools are available, accounted for, and properly maintained to support a safe, organized, and effective learning environment. Occasional travel may be required.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversight of tool room inventory
  • Monitor tool crib for loss prevention
  • Check-in/Check-out tools, equipment, vehicles, etc.
  • Track use of tools, equipment and vehicles
  • Stocking and re-stocking of tools and equipment
  • Directing traffic in/out of garage
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Basic knowledge of automotive tools
  • Ability to work independently
  • Able to lift 20 pounds
  • Able to perform tasks as needed, and take direction
  • Punctuality
  • Ability to work with a diverse population
  • Consistent attendance
