The tool room is the heart of the engine factory. In the machining department, various tools are used in the machines to perform metalworking operations. Examples include drilling, milling, and tapping. When these tools are no longer suitable, they are brought to the tool room. In the tool room, these tools are repaired at a workbench. Small parts are exchanged here. This primarily involves precision mechanical work. Additionally, parts are rinsed clean. Tools are also resharpened in some areas. Finally, the tools are prepared and set to the correct length to return to the machining departments. This involves a large number of diverse tools. The work is carried out according to work instructions, with quality being of paramount importance.
