About the Company We are partnering with a leading NZ FMCG organisation who operate a wide-reaching national logistics network. With that in mind they are looking to onboard a superstar TMS Administrator to play a key specialist role – working across teams, processes and of course the system itself as they implement a bespoke TMS. About the Role As the TMS Administrator, you will play a central role in championing the organisation’s new Transport Management System and keeping it running efficiently. This hands-on role focuses on system administration, master data management and coordination across multiple stakeholders.
Job Responsibility:
Administering and maintaining all things TMS
Ensuring accurate and high-quality data for locations, carriers, and customers
Supporting operational planning, scheduling and execution processes
Liaising with internal teams, carriers and 3rd-party partners to resolve any system issues
Assisting with integrations, reporting, dashboards, compliance and improvement initiatives
Supporting user training, onboarding, and adoption of new system features
Requirements:
Proven experience working with TMS or similar transport/logistics systems
Strong IT and systems skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and manage data accurately
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, working with both internal teams and external partners
Organised, detail-oriented and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proactive and collaborative, with a focus on supporting operations and enabling continuous improvement
Pride and ownership in your work and understanding the importance it plays on the wider distribution operation
