We are looking for a dedicated Title Clerk to join our team in Carmel, Indiana. In this role, you will manage vehicle title inventory and ensure accurate reporting of vehicle information. This is a long-term contract position within the financial services industry, offering an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Job Responsibility:
Maintain and organize vehicle title inventory to ensure accurate records
Generate daily reports detailing vehicle information for tracking purposes
Prepare and send spreadsheets containing vehicle identification numbers (VINs) for review, handling up to 100 entries daily
Perform title searches and clearances to verify ownership details
Scan and manage documents related to title processing for efficient record-keeping
Review preliminary title reports for accuracy and compliance
Collaborate with team members to address any discrepancies in title documentation
Use Excel tools, including VLOOKUP, to analyze and manage data effectively
Requirements:
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to perform VLOOKUP functions
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling title documentation
Familiarity with title searches and clearing processes
Experience scanning and managing large volumes of documents
Ability to review and analyze preliminary title reports
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Nice to have:
Previous exposure to vehicle auctions or vehicle knowledge
