Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated Title Clerk to join our team in Carmel, Indiana. In this role, you will manage vehicle title inventory and ensure accurate reporting of vehicle information. This is a long-term contract position within the financial services industry, offering an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Job Responsibility:

  • Maintain and organize vehicle title inventory to ensure accurate records
  • Generate daily reports detailing vehicle information for tracking purposes
  • Prepare and send spreadsheets containing vehicle identification numbers (VINs) for review, handling up to 100 entries daily
  • Perform title searches and clearances to verify ownership details
  • Scan and manage documents related to title processing for efficient record-keeping
  • Review preliminary title reports for accuracy and compliance
  • Collaborate with team members to address any discrepancies in title documentation
  • Use Excel tools, including VLOOKUP, to analyze and manage data effectively

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to perform VLOOKUP functions
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling title documentation
  • Familiarity with title searches and clearing processes
  • Experience scanning and managing large volumes of documents
  • Ability to review and analyze preliminary title reports
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
