Job Description

World Business Lenders (WBL) provides general purpose short-term real estate collateralized commercial loans to a broad customer base comprised of small and medium sized businesses throughout the United States that lack access to traditional funding. Generally, working hours will be 9:00am-6:00pm Eastern Time, Monday through Friday, although hours worked may be greater based upon operational requirements. The job requires excellent oral and written command of both the English and Spanish language. Resumes must be submitted in English.

Job Responsibility

  • Review and clear commercial and residential property reports from our title vendors
  • Liaise and maintain an open line of communication with various departments, including Production, Processing, Closing, Underwriting, and Asset Resolution
  • Monitor pipeline and ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met
  • Resolve title issues, such as secured liens and/or judgments, unclear ownership of the property, and other related issues that prevent the clearing of title
  • Prepare affidavits and request payoffs
  • Ensure that all title issues are cleared in a timely manner and that documentation is valid and accurate
  • Obtain required documentation from the Processing department to satisfy conditions or clearance
  • Perform other projects and duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 100% English Fluency with exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Four-year college degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Experience working in a lending or mortgage environment as a processor or closer strongly preferred
  • Minimum 3-5 year of title-related real estate experience strongly preferred
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications
  • You must have your own computer/laptop - the company does not supply equipment
