Robert Half is seeking a dependable and customer-focused Tier I Help Desk Support Technician for a contract opportunity in Chattanooga, TN. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical problems, thrives in a team environment, and can remain calm and professional while supporting end users in a fast-paced setting. The Tier I Help Desk Technician will provide front-line technical support to internal employees via phone and email. Working within a structured trouble ticket system, this individual will address one ticket at a time, ensuring efficient and timely resolution of hardware and software issues. This is a highly interactive role requiring strong communication skills and a solid foundational understanding of IT support.

Job Responsibility:

  • Respond to incoming help desk tickets via phone and email
  • Troubleshoot and resolve basic hardware and software issues
  • Reset user passwords and manage account access
  • Set up computers and phones for new employees
  • Load and configure Windows 365 and other required software on laptops
  • Document all issues and resolutions accurately within the ticketing system
  • Escalate complex technical issues to Tier II or senior IT staff when necessary

Requirements:
