Columbia Technology Partners is seeking a Tier 2 System Administrator to join our Remote Operations team supporting users across network, desktop, and systems environments. In this role, you'll take on more complex troubleshooting efforts, serve as a key escalation point, and help ensure users stay fully operational. You'll work hands-on with both hardware and software while leveraging remote tools to support a global user base in an overnight operations environment.
Job Responsibility
Provide Tier 2 technical support for network, desktop, and systems hardware/software
Troubleshoot and resolve complex user issues, ensuring full resolution and follow-up
Use Remote Desktop and other remote access tools to support users across multiple locations
Apply diagnostic techniques to identify root causes and implement effective solutions
Support help desk operations by investigating and resolving issues within cloud and endpoint environments
Provide guidance and mentorship to less-experienced team members
Requirements
IAT Level 1 certification required (CompTIA A+ or Network+)
HS Diploma or GED with 20+ years of relevant experience OR Bachelor's degree with 15+ years of relevant experience
Strong hands-on experience with hardware troubleshooting and support
Experience using Remote Assistance and Remote Desktop tools
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues independently
Comfortable working overnight shift in a fast-paced support environment
U.S. Citizenship is required for all applicants
DOD 8570 IAT Level 1 certification
This position requires an active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph
