Job Description:

Robert Half is seeking a Tier 1 Help Desk Support Technician for a 1 year contract to provide day-to-day end-user and desktop support. This role is designed to supplement the existing IT support team, allowing senior technicians to focus on large-scale PC replacement and deployment initiatives.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide hands-on desktop and end-user IT support
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues
  • Perform password resets, account unlocks, and Active Directory support
  • Install, configure, and maintain software applications
  • Image and deploy PCs using modern deployment tools (Autopilot preferred)
  • Support onboarding/offboarding of users and device setup
  • Log, track, and update tickets in the IT service management system
  • Assist with data migration and user profile transfers as needed

Requirements:

  • Strong hands-on desktop support experience
  • Solid troubleshooting skills across hardware and software environments
  • Experience imaging and deploying PCs (Microsoft Autopilot preferred)
  • Experience supporting end users (password resets, AD, software installs, basic networking issues)

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Microsoft Autopilot and USMT data transfers
  • Familiarity with Freshservice or other ticketing systems
  • Exposure to SCCM and/or Microsoft Intune
