Under general direction collects tickets, greet and assist guests at events including answering questions that arise. This position represents the facility with outstanding friendly custom service greeting and assisting guest at events. Will also assist guests answering questions that arise and will report problems or concerns to appropriate department.
Job Responsibility:
Receive all guests with outstanding friendly customer service
Answer general questions about the arena and provide assistance when needed
Assist Event Manager when needed
Verifies date of tickets and authenticity of passes
Takes and tears tickets
Informs guests of rules and regulations regarding items prohibited in the Convention Center
Refuses admittance to guests without a ticket
Separates tickets according to types
Requirements:
Must have great customer service skills
Must have a positive attitude
Must have willingness to learn and work in a team atmosphere
Must be able to work in a fast paced diverse environment
Must be able to stand and/or walk for hours at a time
Must be able to work irregular hours including nights, weekend and/or holidays as needed
Must be able to follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively with others in both oral and written form
Must be able to remain flexible and adjust to situations as they occur
