Ticket Seller

• Ability to courteously interact with the public face to face
• Open and/or closes ticket window as required
• Accurately issue tickets purchased by patrons
• accepts payment and makes change accurately
• Accurate accounting for ticket revenue
• Maintain a cash drawer
• Provide information to the public regarding tickets and facility events
• Direct ticketing issues to the Box Office Manager/Director of Finance
• Maintain a professional and polite relationship with co-workers, clients, and the public
• Maintain an organized work area in a professional, neat and clean manner
• Adhere to Box Office policy and procedures
• Assist customers with Will Call tickets for events
• Accept payment and make change before giving tickets to customer
• Ability to work independently and handle most box office questions without assistance
• Provide accurate answers concerning events, tickets and schedules of upcoming events in person or on the telephone
• Balances cash and card drawer with manager at the end of each shift
• All other duties/responsibilities as assigned

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• 1-year Prior cash handling experience and excellent math skills
• Basic computer knowledge helpful
• Good communication skills & willingness to work as a team
• Must be able to interact successfully with all coworkers and the general public
• Must be able to speak fluent English and communicate clearly with staff & workers
• Must be able to work assigned shifts including, nights, weekends & holidays as needed
• Work independently, exercising good judgment and initiative
• Follow all oral and written instructions including all policies/procedures, risk management, safety precautions, rules/regulations and emergence procedures established at the facility
• Meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting, carrying up to 25 pounds, moving, climbing, walking and able to sit for long periods of time
• Must have sufficient math ability and knowledge to accurately always count and handle money
• Must have basic working knowledge of cash handling procedure and have at least 1 year cash handling experience
