Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Thrive Practitioner to join a specialist SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) school in Horley. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people aged 11 and above who require additional emotional and social support.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver Thrive interventions to support pupils’ emotional wellbeing and development
  • Work closely with teaching staff and pastoral teams to create a nurturing environment
  • Monitor and track progress, adapting strategies to meet individual needs
  • Promote positive behaviour and resilience in students

Requirements:

  • Thrive Practitioner qualification or relevant experience delivering Thrive interventions
  • Strong understanding of SEMH needs and strategies to support them
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • All staff must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS check or Enhanced check for Regulated Activity with the Disclosure & Barring Services
