Job Responsibility

Sorting donations
Pricing items
Providing excellent customer service
Pricing, stocking, and merchandising display items
Opening, closing, and ensuring thrift shop operates properly
Working closely with volunteers
Maintaining accurate receipts of all sales and donations
Greeting customers
Assisting manager in ensuring shop cleanliness

Job Responsibility

Support and learn all aspects of thrift shop management in partnership with the Store Manager
Assume responsibility for daily operations when the manager is absent
Open and close the store as scheduled, ensuring appropriate staffing and operational readiness
Supervise thrift associates, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and standards are maintained
Deliver exceptional customer service that reflects Blue Ridge Care's mission and values
Promote the thrift shop through community outreach, events, and advertising with leadership approval
Foster a respectful, positive environment for staff, volunteers, and customers alike
Maintain accurate inventory and appropriate stock levels
Oversee processing of incoming donations, ensuring items are sorted, cleaned, priced, and displayed
Ensure all merchandise is accurately priced according to store policies
