Job Description:

This particular Business Risk Officer will be a dedicated Third Party Risk Officer (TPRO) and will be responsible for managing third party relationships for Markets. The TPRO role requires in depth business product knowledge and expertise and will manage risk associated with the third party relationship across all stages of the third party lifecycle. The TPRO will work in concert with Business Activity Owners (BAOs), business operations and technology teams, internal functions, risk organizations and second line of defense to identify, manage and mitigate risk. This role will have a global remit.

Job Responsibility:

Manage a portfolio of third party relationships and collaborate with key stakeholders to identify, mitigate and report risks
Work closely with business partners on findings resulting from control execution
Stay abreast of procedural implementation and change management processes
Completion of risk assessments to determine inherent risks associated with third party portfolio
Onboard new third party relationships
Track issue management along with risk exceptions
Escalate emerging risks as appropriate
Manage multiple controls with differing levels of risk and due dates
Exercise independence of judgement and autonomy
Act as SME to senior stakeholders and/or other team members

Requirements:

5+ years relevant work experience in Business Risk & Controls
5+ years' experience in financial services
Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
Effective organizational influencing skills
Demonstrated ability to lead global team efforts
