A Level 3 or above qualification within early years
Proven experience working as an Early Years Educator (Nursery Nurse/Practitioner) or with children under the age of 5
Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS

Job Responsibility

Encouraging a love of learning through high quality teaching under the EYFS framework
Ensuring all children are kept safe and have rich stimulating experiences
Building relationships with the team to create an inspiring working environment
Leading, motivating and inspiring the educator team
Being the third in command in the nursery after the Nursery Manager and Deputy Manager
Identifying areas of change and implementing

Job Responsibility

Deliver care to the children whilst also supervising your team
Identify areas for improvements relating to learning and teaching techniques or creating more stimulating experiences and environments

Responsible for ensuring all record keeping requirements are regularly completed, as well as conducting your team appraisals
Work in partnership with other Room Leads and the management team to ensure the successful running of the nursery
