Job Description

F&M Ingegneria is seeking a professional to join our team as a Thermal Systems Design Engineer at our headquarters in Mirano (VE). The selected candidate will work under the supervision of the project coordinator and will be responsible for the technical development of mechanical systems throughout all design phases.

Job Responsibility

  • Design of mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing and sanitation, technical fluid distribution, steam generation and distribution systems, and fire suppression systems for both civil and industrial applications
  • Actively collaborating with the team to define technical solutions, applicable standards, and the necessary technical documentation
  • Preparing bill of quantities, analyzing unit prices, and compiling the project price list
  • Performing dimensional calculations in the energy sector
  • Conducting site visits to assist the construction management team

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, preferably with a focus on thermal engineering or energy, or a technical diploma
  • At least 3–5 years of experience in the same role
  • In-depth knowledge of civil and industrial mechanical systems
  • Good knowledge of the main energy simulation software: Edilclima
  • Good knowledge of AutoCAD, Primus, or STR software
  • Good command of the English language, both spoken and written
  • Good work organization skills
  • Ability to interface with both internal and external design teams

Nice to have

Knowledge of BIM methodology and experience with Revit software is preferred
