Job Description

As a Thermal Plastic Welder, you will be responsible for the precise fabrication and welding of thermal plastic components, ensuring all work meets stringent quality and safety standards. This role is critical in maintaining the integrity and performance of our manufactured products.

Job Responsibility

  • Carry out thermal plastic welding processes accurately and efficiently in line with technical drawings and specifications
  • Inspect and prepare materials prior to welding to ensure quality and adherence to standards
  • Operate specialised welding equipment safely and maintain tools and machinery in good working condition
  • Perform quality checks on welded components and identify any defects or non-conformances
  • Maintain detailed records of welding activities, materials used, and inspection results
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve welding-related issues and improve processes
  • Adhere to health and safety policies, ensuring a safe working environment at all times
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing process

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Thermal Plastic Welder or similar role within manufacturing or industrial environments
  • Strong knowledge of thermal plastic welding techniques, materials, and equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately
  • Good manual dexterity and attention to detail to ensure high-quality welds
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations related to welding operations
  • Relevant welding certifications or qualifications are highly desirable
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
